92nd Street Y Flying Dolphins Swim Team (YFD-MR), located on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, is seeking a highly motivated, experienced, well-organized, and enthusiastic age group coach to lead our 12&Under swimmers. 92nd Street Y Flying Dolphins is committed to promoting personal development and the pursuit of excellence (mind, body, spirit) so that each participant can be the best they can be in all aspects of life while helping each athlete reach their highest potential within our sport. On deck coaching hours are Monday thru Friday between 4:00-8:30 PM, Sat 3:00-5:00 PM, and Sunday 6:00-8:00 AM plus required competitions. YFD Swimming is looking for an individual who is a team player with swim coaching experience. The candidate must possess ASCA level 1 or higher preferred. 3+ years of USA coaching experience preferred, and pass all required background checks. The individual’s experience should illustrate exceptional management, communication and motivational skills, team-building and community involvement. The candidate should be able to provide relevant examples of teaching quality technique as well as have a record of producing well-rounded swimmers.

Northport Yacht Club Swim Team
The Head Coach is responsible for supervising, instructing, motivating and coaching approximately 100 swimmers ages 4-17. S/he develops workouts, directs practice, and manages swimmer placement for all meets while encouraging proper sportsmanship and good teammate behavior at all times. S/he is a motivator who knows how to get kids excited about the sport of swimming, and has strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with swimmers of all ages and their parents.
The coach will become familiar with the rules, regulations (as found in the Swim Team Handbook and the Tri-Club agreement between Northport Yacht Club, Centerport Yacht Club and Huntington Bay Club) and rich traditions of the Northport Yacht Club Swim Team and actively participate in ensuring these are followed and promoted. The coach will leverage time trials on a regular basis to inform meet lineups, to measure swimmer progress and promote healthy competition on the team
Requirements: Minimum age of 21 - Experience coaching both competitive and recreational swimmers in similar program - Proficient in all swim skills and able to teach all stroke techniques - Able to lift and move equipment, and to lift an average size child - Valid American Red Cross Lifeguard or Water Safety certification with up to date CPR/AED/First Aid
Salary: $25-30/hr; commensurate with experience
Hours: Seasonal position June 19-Aug 4 that averages approx 35 hours per week including practice, meets, events, planning time and administrative planning for meets (i.e. lineups)
June 11 - June 22 Pre-Season Practices 4:00-6:00 PM (M-F)
June 25 - Aug 3 Regular Season Morning Practices 8:00-11:00am (M-F)
June 25 Swim lessons begin (M-F afternoon hours not yet confirmed)
In addition to the practices, the coach is expected to attend 10 competitive swim meets (held Wednesday and Saturday mornings) and 4 evening team events (dates to be determined)

RI Marlins is actively seeking for a highly motivated coach who will be responsible for work with a Junior group. The coach should be able to communicate with athletes ages 9 - 13. The basic responsibilities are: draft practices, explain drills, work with a stop watch. The Head Coach, a member of USA swimming, will be happy to share his expertise and knowledge in creating practices and mentoring young athletes. Practice times: Mon, Wed, Fri 4 - 5.45 pm, Tue 4 - 6.30, Saturday 8 - 10.30 am. The club can provide an additional opportunity with Learn To Swim Program to expand hours of work up to 20 per week.

Westchester Aquatic Club (WEST-MR) is seeking a full-time Assistant Age Group / Senior Coach.
Job Description: Applicants must be energetic, knowledgeable, and able to communicate with parents, fellow coaches and swimmers of all ages. Candidates must be able to work as part of a coaching team and with one or more groups in the age-group and senior programs.
Qualifications: Previous coaching experience required (ASCA level 2 or higher preferred). 3+ years of USA coaching experience preferred. Ability to work, train, and instruct multiple practice groups 4 hours per day, and some mornings (as needed). Strong stroke technique background & teaching base. Strong customer service and decision making skills. Excellent verbal and communication skills. Must take direction from the Head Coach but have the ability to work independently. Knowledge of Hytek Meet Manager, Team Manager, and Team Unify, team administration skills are key. Must be energetic, give positive feedback daily to every swimmer, and a self-starter. Experience with workout and season planning. Experience with Dryland Training.
Requirements: Coach in good standing with USA Swimming with clear background check. Current CPR/Safety Training certifications. Passed USA Swimming’s Athlete Protection Training.

Trident Swim Foundation (TSC-MR) is looking for an Assistant Swim Coach. This is a unique opportunity to help shape an after school swimming/tutoring program at the Prospect Heights High School Educational Campus in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn. The Trident Swim Foundation is a non-for-profit organization that supports swimming and academics in urban settings. (www.tridentswimfoundation.org) We have an enthusiastic Executive Board of Directors made up of independent business people who are all experienced national-level swimmers. We are not a parent run club.
The coach will be required to prepare the swimmers for the PSAL season and continue throughout the year as a USA swim coach, working with our head coach, Ray Miller. Our program runs every day after school from @4:30 – 6:00pm
REQUIREMENTS: He/She should be current with first aird/AED/life saving. If possible, a current member/coach of USA swimming (if not a member, we will work with you to be certified). Must have an understanding of the latest training methods, techniques and stroke analysis; must be knowledgeable with Hytek Team Manager software as well as Microsoft Office software. DOE approved teacher. Must be on time for all workouts.
SKILLS: Must have the ability and desire to grow the programs base; must be capable of motivating swimmers, parents and volunteers; must possess good written and verbal communication skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year university or college; have a competitive swimming background.
MAIN DUTIES: The Assistant Coach will work with the Head Coach on the day-to-day management and preparation of the team for the PSAL and USA swim season; scheduling practices and competitions; allocating swimmers to different levels. The Assistant Coach must be energetic, hard working, self-motivated and goal oriented. We are looking to start the right person as soon as possible. Salary is commensurate with experience.
