Metropolitan wants you to "Make a Splash!"

Make a Splash is an initiative of the USA Swimming Foundation
"dedicated to using the sport of swimming to decrease the number of
drowning accidents, foster diversity in the sport and encourage people
of all ages to embrace swimming as a route to a healthier lifestyle."

After attending convention and hearing many inspiring stories, I feel it is time for Metro to be involved in this remarkable program, and "make a splash" in our LSC.
As a holistic body, we, as Metropolitan Swimming, would like to promote excellence both in,
and outside of the pool. Being one of the few LSCs that nurtures a thriving city,
it would be a great incentive to make a difference in our sport,
and in our larger communities.
Thus, we would like to create a "Make a Splash" committee,
within the Metropolitan LSC, to further pursue this idea.
ALL SWIMMERS/ PARENTS/ COACHES/ ADMINISTRATORS ARE WELCOME TO JOIN!
Please shoot me an e-mail if you have any questions or are interested in making a splash!

Feel free to browse the "Make a Splash" website for more information.
